Casa Rhōde began as an independent venture inspired by a love of beautiful tables, expressive prints, and the small rituals that make everyday gatherings memorable.
The concept was to create a distinctive home linens brand offering printed placemats, napkins, and tablecloths through a print-on-demand business model. With no previous experience building an e-commerce website, I developed the brand’s digital storefront from the ground up.
The project brought together brand positioning, visual direction, product storytelling, and a fully customized shopping experience. From curated collection launches and dedicated product categories to thoughtfully designed product displays, every detail was intended to make shopping feel inspiring and intuitive.
One of the most distinctive features was an interactive Mix & Match experience, allowing visitors to explore how different prints and colors could work together at the table. The website also incorporated customer reviews, email signup opportunities, and merchandising sections designed to encourage product discovery.
The result: a colorful, editorial-inspired e-commerce experience that brought the Casa Rhōde brand to life and supported its initial launch. The store operated for several months as an independent entrepreneurial project.
An independent brand project exploring custom e-commerce design, digital merchandising, product storytelling, and interactive shopping experiences.
